Kitty Circle ("the App") is owned and operated by Niche Ventures LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Kitty Circle you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo, provided when you sign in with Google or Apple.
Circle content — information you create in the app, such as events, RSVPs, member and payment status, announcements, polls, reminders, chat messages, photos, and notes.
Contacts — only if you choose to use "Invite Contacts." Contacts are accessed on your device to let you select people to invite and are not uploaded to our servers or stored.
Usage & device data — basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the app's features (circles, events, payments tracking, games, messaging).
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To respond to your support requests and improve the app.

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Content you add to a circle (e.g. your name, RSVPs, messages, photos) is visible to other members of that circle. We use the following service providers to run the app:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Hosting) — stores your account and circle data securely.
Google & Apple Sign-In — used to authenticate your account.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app, which removes your profile and your membership data from your circles. You may also email us to request deletion.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our cloud provider's security protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Kitty Circle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
